Millennium Eyes

This look is created using one of the eyeshadows from my Ecstatic Eyeshadows store on Etsy - the silvery, blue color called 'Millennium." I also used a shimmery, light brown from the Coastal Scents 120 Palette, although any light brown/tan, shimmery shadow will due, as it is a neutral color. The eyeliner is Maybelline Define-A-Line in 'Brownish Black' (though I don't see any sign of black... it's a medium golden brown hue). I also highlighted around my tear duct using Wet 'n Wild idol eyes cream shadow pencil in #130 'Pixie'. Ombre Purple Smokey Eye

We've all done the black and brown smokey eye, but how about smokey with a pop of color?! Purple is a color that looks gorgeous on everyone, and it amounts to one stellar smokey eye!

 Mascara used: Loreal Voluminous 5x in Carbon                               Black

Primer used: MK Signature Eye Primer

Simple Galaxy Nails

I've seen some pretty detailed Galaxy Nails before, but before I try my hand at that, I accidentally discovered this EASY Galaxy Nail look. The best part? It's SUPER cheap!

First, use any base coat desired. I have so many out there that I like, I don't want to only list one.
Second, apply two coats of Wet 'n Wild - Wild Shine nail color in #417F
Third, apply one coat of Pure Ice nail polish in #989 Oh Baby!

Top with choice of top coat, if desired. (when I use glitter polish, I skip the top coat)

It's just too bad the photo just doesn't do justice!

The glitter looks white, but when put over purple, the fine glitter flecks turn an amazing shade of blue! Talk about Galaxy Nails!

Product Review: Too Faced Eye Insurance

I recently tried out a sample of Too Faced's Shadow Insurance. I was more than impressed with the stuff (and no, I was in no way paid to say that!). I typically used Mary Kay Eyeshadow Primer, which also does an amazing job. I say these two are comparable as both have lasted overnight, prevent creasing, and enhance color dramatically.
